24 Upcoming PC City-building Games in 2018 & 2019 ► Survival RTS City-builders!

Do you like city-building games? Because here’s a whole 24 games that are on the way! TWENTY-FOUR! Welcome to the 24 Upcoming PC City-building Games in 2018 & 2019 list! Us city-building enthusiasts haven’t been having the best of times as the genre kind of fell out of favour, but it might be time for a comeback! The twists bringing the city-builder back seem to be adding survival themes and a few RTS strategy elements along with the simulation. I mention 24 upcoming city-builders in this video and the first half are based on survival and many have strategy built into them. What’s important though is that it seems the city-building genre is coming back into style and at least some of these games should end up being good.

  • Does anyone know a game that was set to come out in 2019, is kind of a sim city'esque simulator set un up in a medieval dark fantasy like age.

Basicaly you have to build a FORTRESS and resist hordes of evil enemys, gather resources with specialized buildings within the fotress and so on.. the ambience is VERY dark and nightmarish like something that came out of the manga berserk. Any idea whats the title?? . i've been looking for this game for quite some time.

  • Another solid vid.. ancient cities and foundations look quite interesting.
I've played frostpunk and empire railway and they can be a bit difficult, especially the railway game since I've never played one like that before.

Keep up the good work .

  • Zakh, we would like to suggest top upcoming games with biologic evolution as the main theme and game-mechanism.

  • Lords and Peasants engine would be PERFECT for a new Theme Park. I miss this game so much and Roller Coaster Tycoon World and Planet Coaster just dont hold a candle to its addictiveness. Please bring back Theme Park!

  • Hey all!!! my first city game to really get me hooked sim building would be sim-city however, I drifted away for any years until I came across Anno Sim games and I fell in love with them. I really loved Anno 2077 which had the underwater building. I would like to beta test the ANNO 1800 although I am on the fence with this one. I like the futuristic look of my city building. I love your vids keep them coming!!!

  • Emperor: Rise of the MIddle Kingdom is my jam. i just loved everything about the farming in that game: the little graphics, the different seasons, the commingling of crops… Wish a new one would come out.

  • I’m hyped for foundation because it is unique, non grid systems would be interesting and easier to expand

    0rbiit May 25, 2020 6:03 pm Reply
  • Are most/all these on steam? Or just the ones that you specifically said are? I have a couple and some I've looked at. Mainly the first 10 games on your list( I have and like Frostpunk and Depraved is ok but needs a high end machine. Atomic Society needs A LOT of work at this point.)
