BIOSUN ear candles are regularly tested by independent institutes and are certified medical products according to EC guidelines 93/42 (EEC).

BIOSUN has been researching the use of ear candles since 1985 and ensures the high quality and safety standards.

The 11 different types of ear candles are all made by pure beeswax, honey extract, traditional herbs such as Sage, St. John’s wort, Chamomile and pure essential oils entrapped in pesticide-free untreated cotton.

The specially designed safety filter inside prevents the earwax from dripping back down into the ear.

  1. These were poorly made and dangerous to use. No flame guard, not shaped (rounded tips.) They burnt unevenly and had the minimum wax they could get away with. Cost me $15.95, which I would rather have set on fire than these.

  2. I double dare you to burn an ear candle without putting it in your ear. See what kind of shit you pull from thin air.

  3. Quien las necesite en Colombia puede marcar al cel 3007233604 las elaboramos con la formula original hopi, fibra natural de algodon y cera de abejas

  4. Most of the time when I've used them I get small deposits of ear wax. Sometimes however I get huge great turds of earwax out. I always unravel the candles after I've used them to check what came out.

While using them I often get the sensation of stuff leaving my ears (almost like my ears are having a poo!), pops and the sound of lumps being sucked out of my ears.

However, I've read today that the Hopi tribe of native America have never practiced "candling" and are upset that Biosun use their image to sell their products. Also, the popular image Biosun use of allegedly Hopi peoples holding ear candles is taken from a mural at the Hopi Tower Grand Canyon. The mural isn't ancient at all and was painted in 1930 and the "candles" are actually feathers.

Now my opinion of Hopi ear candles have changed, I think they actually create the "ear wax" and have absolutely no medical benefits whatsoever. It's a just a money making scam.

This is the mural painted in 1930: http://www.waymarking.com/gallery/image.aspx?f=1&guid=28d910ca-7c4e-4006-8e02-a09e180f3121&gid=3 You can clearly the two Hopi holding feathers, not candles.
