Just a guy from Arkansas chasing his dreams of traveling the world, meeting amazing people, and trying all the delicious food I can find!

Recently moved to Hong Kong from my small farm in the states, I am now taking advantage and the opportunities I have to travel the world in search of some of the most delicious foods, unique places, and friendliest people.

A lover of street food, good laughs, and learning about other cultures. I hope to indulge in all these things and more as I bring you along with me on my epic journeys.

  1. Sadly this will be my last video from Ho Chi MInh City (Saigon). The trip felt so short as I had a wonderful time!

In this video I made my way to one of the most popular restaurants in the city for locals and tourist. I also tried a few more local favorite dishes and realized I probably wouldn't need to eat again for about a week after this day full of eating!

Thanks to everybody for watching and supporting. If you are not already apart of this family please feel free to subscribe and join me on my journeys!

    Best wishes,

    Max McFarlin

  2. I watched a lot of video reactions about vietnamese foods but one special food that foreigners should try "all about foods relate to Mắm, such as: Bún mắm, lẫu mắm, cá cơm kho nước mắm,.."

  3. You're the first Western food vlogger that I've seen whom discovered banh tam bi (rice noodles in sweet coconut sauce) and bot chien (fried rice cake). Those are famous street food of Ho Chi Minh City yet somehow no foreigner ever heard of it. You're also the first Caucasian who I've seen eating that amount of chilli! Massive respect for you Max.

  4. Hi I’m Vietnamese living in Germany and the next time I’m visiting Vietnam i would take u with me ^^ so u could see the traditional and family side from vietnam 🇻🇳 ♥️
Just text me if u want ^^
    I like your videos ^^

  5. it's 1st time I see someone put that much of hot peppers inside of the bánh Xèo. Usually, we put the hot peppers in the source. It's so hot, yet you're able to eat that much of peppers. Good for you. Great video.

  6. i love your video make me hungry every time i watching.really long time already i have not coming back to visit country. stay safe bro. from California

  7. One thing about Vietnamese foods… you will always get a healthy dose of veggies with most dishes. For those who don't like veggies will not like Vietnamese foods

  8. Yup, including taking south Cambodia and making it into South Vietnam. The entire south Vietnam was once South Cambodian aka Kampuchea Krom. Saigon used to be the capital of south Cambodia.
